MCBA State Finals

(Student's will only need $$ for concessions if they choose to eat at Ford Field)

**If you are planning on taking your child from Ford Field and not ride the bus home it would be helpful to send Mr. S an email or send in a note this week***


Saturday - November 7
***PLEASE SLEEP IN- GET LOTS OF REST FROM FRIDAY NIGHT - EAT A GOOD BREAKFAST BEFORE YOUR ARRIVE.***

11:00am Meet at Kent City
12 noon Leave Kent City
              - Stop at Rest Area en route
                     - use restrooms
4pm 'ish' Arrive at Ford Field
                                  - Use restroom
                                  - Get hand stamped 
                                  - Head to Parking Lot for Unload, Get into                                       Uniform and Warmup
7pm - Head to Ford Field
7:30-7:55 - Warmup Inside
9pm - Move to Field

8:15pm - PERFORMANCE TIME
    - Pictures to follow
    - Students will take care of instruments at trailers and STAY IN UNIFORM. Students will head back in to Ford Field together to watch the rest of the flight.  Students may wish to bring $$ for concessions, State Finals shirt, patch, pin, etc.(if not preordered)

Go back to Lot and load trailers - Eat Dinner in lot

10:30pm - AWARDS

- After Awards, students will get out of uniform and load buses. Buses will stop on way home at a rest area for a bathroom break.

1:30-2:30am 'ish' Arrive back to Kent City

Where: Kent City High School - Auditorium/Cafeteria
6:30pm - Gather in Cafeteria Area
​6:40pm - Begin Dessert

7:15pm - Gather in Auditorium for program

What to bring: your favorite holiday dessert
What to wear: dress up a little, we are celebrating
Who can attend: you, your family, not your pets though

PIE SALE

We Need You!

Pie Pick Up is Saturday November 14th at Sparta Middle School - Pick up your pies between 11:30am and 1:30pm.

We need workers as well (student and adult)- Sign up for a shift.
These are the times we will be there -
Friday - 5-9pm
Saturday - 7:45-3pm

Please contact Tona Long today to work. Remember, your child gets an additional amount in their account for working. We need parents to work as well.

10% of all CASH or CHECK sales go to support the Music program. (if you use credit card we don't get any money). Please consider eating breakfast at Red Rock this day.

Mandatory Parent Meeting for band camp
July 27 - 8pm in the HS Auditorium.

Band Camp 2015

Tonight kicks off pre-camp week. Full Ensemble rehearsal for everyone from 6-8pm followed by a Mandatory parent/student meeting at 8pm in the auditorium. Freshmen/New Marchers tomorrow night 6-8pm. Wednesday off. Thursday - Full Ensemble Rehearsal 6-8pm, Friday - Full Ensemble Rehearsal from 5-9pm and Sunday Loading for camp from 6-8pm. ***DON'T FORGET TO BRING WATER TO REHEARSALS*** Also wear tennis shoes, no flip flops or sandals

Attention Parents - The location for our Saturday performance at Band Camp has been moved to the fields in front of Devos Fieldhouse at Hope College. There is not stadium seating here, so please bring a lawn chair or blanket for the performance. HERE is a link to download the directions to Devos from Kent City.
