If you are performing a Solo for State Solo and Ensemble you may need to deal with Proficiencies. If you are doing a proficiency solo you will be receiving a score instead of a roman numeral. Your solo is worth 50 points, your scales 25 points and your sight reading 25 points.
Division One Proficiency Score of 85-100
Division Two Proficiency Score of 70-84
