Spectators - Admission is free. Please enter from the lower parking lots (enter by the gym).
We will return to Kent City around 4pm.
State Band and Orchestra Festival
Congratulations to Breegan Petruska, Maddie Allen, Nathan VanderWest, Lauren Schnicke, and Kristen Toporski for being selected to represent Kent City at the honors band this year. Mandatory Sectional will be April 15th at Kent City High School from 6:30-8:30pm. The Honors Band and Concert will be held on April 18th from 9am-8pm at Reeths-Puffer High School.
Solo and Ensemble Festival at Muskegon Oakridge HS - January 31, 2015 * Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your performance time. * Don't forget your music, instrument, supplies. * Make sure your measures are numbered.
Solo and Ensemble Signups will begin for HS starting November 3.
Deadline for signups - November 12. Money must be turned in prior to November 12 including accompanist fees.
Solo: $10 plus $35 for accompanist Ensembles: $8 per member
We will have woodwind, brass and percussion chamber ensembles this year as well.
MAKE SURE YOU GET INVOLVED! S/E IS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO GROW AS A PLAYER.
Schedule for District Marching Band Festival on 10/8/14 Admission $5 for all ages Programs are $1 2:10pm - Load Trailers 2:45pm -Get into uniforms 3:25pm - Leave KC (pending bussing schedule) 4pm - Unload 4:15pm - Uniform Inspection 4:20pm - Foot Warmup 4:30-Warmup 5pm - Staging 5:15pm - Performance Time - Head back to trailers after performance, take care of instruments and get out of uniform. - Wear show shirt or KC gear - Concessions if you wish - Sit together and watch other bands 7:05pm - Awards 8:15pm 'ish' - Arrive at KC and unload

6am - Arrive, get into uniform 6:30am - Leave Kent City - Arrive and Unload - Stretch/Foot Warmup 7:30am - Warm Up Time 8:15am - Band Performs - Sit and watch next 2 bands 9am - Load and send band back
Back to KC around 9:45am 'ish' Unload and head home
Homecoming Football Game and Performance with the 8th Graders
September 26
After School - 8th Graders bring instruments to the HS.
3:15pm - HS Band and 8th Grade Band Rehearse together on the band field 4pm - Break, get water, use restroom 4:15pm - Head down to parade lineup 5pm - Parade - After parade, boosters will feed students around 6:10pm - Bands will do one more run through
6:45pm - Pregame 7pm - Game Time - 8th Grade marches halftime with HS band
Band Camp Revisited and Reeths Puffer Preview Show
8am-3pm- Rehearsal Day - Lunch and After Reh. provided by Boosters Load and Head to Reeths Puffer High School
Show starts at 6pm, we perform at 6:20pm Cost of admission for spectators: $2
Concessions will be open.
Please use the entrance on Giles Rd on the south side of the school. There is an event going on in the auditorium that evening.
